Is it possible to calculate and display a value based on previously entered numeric variables? Ex: Learners are completing something like a cash flow analysis and I want the totals to auto calculate based on the entered numeric value in each of the input variables.
Hi, I've tried using a trigger and that seems to involve setting up a button for calculation, but even then, the function seems to be very limited as to what I can add. It looks like I can only add value at a time to "adjust a variable" and that could get very tedious as I have about 8 to add up. What am I missing? Could you provide more detail please? What I'm trying to do is add the values input by the leaner for depreciation, depletion, insurance, and real estate taxes to arrive at a total expense figure that is calculated based on those values. Thanks for any additional detail you can provide.
Got it figured out - thanks for your reply. I was trying to calucuate the value within 1 trigger and duh, realized I just needed to add additional triggers to the calculate button. Thanks Alexandros!

Hi J,
Yes indeed you can either by using triggers leveraging the values previously entered, or by using a JS trigger to calculate everything.
Hope this helps,
Alex
