This doesn't help. convincing our customers is not relevant in this case.
In this project it makes sense to have numbering. Think of a jobaid, you was the ability to easily return to a specific "page" or data/
Was thinking - slide numbering is property that each slide has anyway. We can define that it will appear in the menu as well. Can we access it? Allow a parameter\code to access it?
Hi Efrat - to my knowledge this isn't possible directly - though maybe someone else knows different.
Can you be more specific about what effects or actions you are trying to achieve with the slide numbers? I'm fairly confident there will be a work-around of some sort.

Rich
Rich is correct the slide number is not exposed, hopefully when we get the SDK we will get access to this
All I want to do is define the following:
Parameter X = value of slide number.
So I will an automatic slide numbering, when defining this parameter on the slide master layout, or at least on each slide.
To be honest it's still hard to tell what you want to actually achieve. Can you be more specific and explain fully?
The way I would do this is create a variable SlideNo and assign a value to tat on each slide using a timeline tart trigger
Phil - did you get a new keyboard?
@Efrat - if you follow Phil's suggestion, you can put a text field on your master slide in the position where you want the numbers to appear.
%SlideNo%
Then on each slide you would have to add an "adjust variable" trigger to set the value to the number you want.
This is kind of a pain so I would suggest only doing it after you have finalized your screens.
No I just cannot use an iPad keyboard
