Videos won't play when I choose "open in slide," only when I select, "display in new browser." That's not good, either, because the learner has to start it themselves, and it doesn't advance to the next slide -- even when I set it up with a trigger to jump to the next slide at 47 seconds. The slides in question are 2, 3 and 4. Can anyone help?
When you insert a web object link, you should test it. It will tell you if that link will play in a frame. Many videos won't.
You have a couple of options:
Vimeo has a share code, an iframe. You can copy that code and go to insert video from site and paste the code. Sometimes that will work. In your case it looks like it does.
If not, take the embed code and create a blank html page and use the code to insert the video on the blank page. Save the page as index.html and then you can insert that page as a web object and the page will load the video. You may have to tweak the way it displays.

Hi, Tom,
That worked like a charm. Can I assume that all videos that I create and store on my Vimeo channel with work this same way? Thanks for your help.
At this moment, I would say maybe yes. :)
Those videos sites change things and how the embed codes works today may not be the way it works down the road. Just something to keep tabs on.
