Can I automatically alphabetize new additions to a course menu?
Sep 02, 2015
Hello everyone! This is the first question I've ever posted so hopefully it won't be too confusing...I have used Articulate Storyline 2 to build a course library that my company uses to advertise our safety training courses to potential clients. Each alphabetized entry in the course library consists of a bevel, a text box, and a course description which appears whenever you hover the mouse over the bevel + text box. My issue now, which didn't occur to me until I built out most of the catalog, is that every time I add a new course I will essentially have to re-arrange practically the entire thing in order to keep the courses alphabetized. Does anyone know if there is a way to set the courses (bevel + text box) to automatically re-organize alphabetically every time I add a new one? My boss suggested possibly using the glossary feature? Sorry if this question is a bit complicated. Thank you all so much for your help!

Hi Chelsey,
Thanks for reaching out here and it sounds like a cool set up - but there isn't a way to have Storyline automatically alphabetize elements on the screen.
You could enable the search option. That at least allows users to search though the title of your slides more quickly.
