I need to have a button that once clicked can then be set, depending on other actions, to a "correct answer disabled" state or to an "incorrect answer disabled" state.
I have tried duplicating the built in disabled state and changing its label and properties. It seems that the disabled nature does not carry over to the new state.

Hi Dave!
Check out the workaround Walt shared in this forum discussion. Hopefully that will work for what you're looking to do!
Thanks, I’ll look more closely at that thread. There seems to be a lot of options.
I ended up with the transparent cover that is activated by the “Correct” or “wrong” states
Thanks for following up
