It is possible in Storyline to create a quiz with multiple attempts that are tiered so that if a student answers the question right the first time they get 3/3 points. If they answer it incorrectly they can try again. If the get it right on the second attempt they get 2/3 points. A third try would get them 1/3 points. Etc.
