I'm not really loving the cartoon characters in Storyline, and I have lots of photo images from a separate image library I belong to... I can import my images as just photos, but is there a way to create and name "States" for them? i.e. happy, frustrated, angry, etc... ? Or am I stuck with making a million layers and just swapping out the picture each time i want the face to change? I'm trying to keep life simple if there is a way.
Yes, you can create custom states for any object, including photos you import into Storyline. Here is a tutorial on editing and adding states. I guess the challenge with your library of pictures will be to line them up properly, so that when they change expressions, it doesn't look 'jumpy'.

Yep, easy peasy...check out this thread: http://community.articulate.com/forums/t/13139.aspx - a couple of screenrs in there (the second one shows *how* to do it).
Hope that helps,
Holly
Thank you so much! That Screener with the construction workers was exactly what I needed. You guys are awesome.
