We've been struggling with this matter for a while, now, I am aware that I can fully customize a self-hosted player, but in our case, we use the cloud-hosted player from JWPlayer...what do we want to modify? simply, we only want to remove the progress bar...i don't think I will be able to do this through articulate...

You mention a progress bar, but are you referring to the seekbar within your player? If so, you can turn this off prior to publishing and no modifications will be needed.
Hi, I meant the progress bar where you can drag from beginning to the end...so the students are not allowed to skip the video until the end without actually watching it...

As Leslie mentioned, you can adjust the player menu setting and not allow learners access to the seekbar. To do this, in Storyline you will want to navigate to the Home tab >> then click on the Player button >> from there you will see this prompt which allows you to customize your player settings:
