Can I delete a Master Slide? I am working on a presentation/training and made a mistake by creating a master slide in the middle of production. Erg. Im new to this, clearly. So, now all of the slides have changed and I can not delete the Master. And everytime I try to change the slides back there is a big red X. Does anyone know what I can do to un-do what I did?
If the Master (slide or layout) is: a) not used by/assigned to a slide in your course, and b) there are other master slides present,
then Storyline will allow you to delete the Master.
To find out whether a master slide or master layout is assigned to a slide in your course, simply hover over that master and a caption will appear to inform you of that.
It shows that it has been assigned to 122 slides. I can add or do anything. If I insert a new slide the title prompt "click to add title" shows up and when I try to do that it's another big red X.

You probably can copy the elements from the master you want to the current master. CTRL-A, on the good master to select all, then CTRL-C to copy all, then CTRL-V on the bad master to paste everything. You will have to do this for each layout that is being used. Be very careful about using the ribbon tab to change the background; I have had some VERY bad experiences. Start with a backup.

Ok, so it's a big course and -I would imagine- hard to upload here for a number of good reasons.
However, a screenshot of the Master layout properties could help visualize the issue you're currently facing.
