To help with this set up, could you share a copy of your .story file so that we can take a look? That way folks in the ELH community can offer specific advice on your design and needs.
You can add a .story file here using the Add Attachment button.
What version of Storyline are you using? Daniel's file may contain a new feature from a more recent update--if you haven't updated in a while, you'll see that message when trying to open the file.
If you can share a few sample slides from your own file, that'd be even more helpful!

Hey Jamie. Sorry we're hitting some speedbumps! When you reply via email, attachments don't come through. Give it another try by clicking here, and using the Add Attachment button in your reply. Thanks!
I think I figured out how to insert a play/pause button. I have a new question.
Can I only allow users to advance to the certificate page if they have completed or visited every screen in the course?
I want to set up a main menu that would allow the users to go to each section but don't want them to be able to get the certificate if they have not visited each section.

It looks like you meant to include some images here, but they won't appear if you respond via email. If you want to pop back into this discussion you can add them as an attachment.
You could restrict their access to that final certificate slide in a few ways. If the course is linear, meaning the learner would visit each slide in the order you set up, using something like restricted/locked navigation would prevent them from proceeding to that final slide until they viewed the earlier slides. You can change that from within the menu options.
If you're not using a linear navigation, you'll likely need to look at tracking a variable for each slide and once all those variables are equal to X, that a button would be enabled to print or visit the certificate slide. If you're looking to use that idea and find yourself stuck, share a copy of your .story file here with us and folks can take a look and help out!

Hi Jamie,
How about this method?
I am getting an error message saying I need to do updates before it will allow me to open your file. How do I do this? Thanks!
Jamie

I did attach a file today. Can you access that?

Hi Crystal -

The main menu would look something like this:

The retrieve your certificate slide may look like this:

Thank you for your help!
Jamie
