Note: Storyline must be installed with administrative privileges.
Close all Articulate programs.
Download the Storyline installer and save it to your local computer.
Right-click the installer and select Run as administrator.
Follow the prompts to complete the installation process.
When installation is complete, double-click the Articulate Storyline icon on your desktop to launch the software.
If you're using the 30-day free trial, click Continue your free trial. If you've purchased a license, clickActivate with your serial number and follow these steps to activate.
I have downloaded storyline 2 to my mac but it keeps notifying me that it does not run on my mac system. I don't really want to go through the bootstrap approach so I am wondering if I can download to an external drive and run it from there. Is this possible?

We do not recommend installing on an external drive. The system requirements are:
Mac OS X 10.6.8 or later with Parallels Desktop 7+ or VMware Fusion 4+
