I'm planning on replicating the herewith exercise with new words but I don't want to have the answers always on the same position. Is there a way to use the shuffle feature in sync with the feedback layers so that I don't have to change them manually each time? Do I need a different type of exercise/quiz?
Unfortunately, no. If you shuffle the answers, the feedback layers and shapes won't move with them. However, there may still be an option.
How about states, instead of layers? You can apply the state to the answers, themselves. This way, when you select an answer, and if the answer changes position the feedback shape will "stick" with it.
Since you had your answers set up to show the shapes upon selecting them, placing them in the states for "Selected" seems to work quite well. I've modified your original file, in the question for slide 1.1 "viernes".
Take a look and let me know if this works for you.
