Can I reset a closed caption when the audio is rewound?

Mar 30, 2016

This one of several questions I have thanks to a client who has changed the requirements on me after the project was finished. I have closed captions in the project that play when the timeline starts. The client wants to be able to rewind the seekbar and have the closed caption restart. I should note that the "reset to initial state" option won't do the trick; the client wants the ability to rewind from the slide, not on a revisit.Alternatively, I can remove the seekbar altogether and add a button or rewind icon that starts the timeline over again from the beginning, but I don't see a way to do that, either. I've uploaded one one-slide scene that has a CC by way of example. Just click the CC icon to bring it up, click again to make it go away. Thanks!

I think you forgot to attach your example. However, from what I can gather, the work around could be a rewind icon which shows a blank layer. Have a trigger on this blank layer which jumps to the slide when the timeline starts. Then make sure your slide is set to reset to initial state when revisiting.

I've a attached a very simple example.
