I am trying to create a scenario slide with 2 text entry fields. One for a "yes" answer and the other for "no." My goal - when the user clicks the yes or no button, the corresponding text entry field appears and they can input text. I don't want the field to show until the user clicks the yes or no. Entry fields don't have states - why not?
I can't do an overlay object to "cover" them since my background is a picture and not a solid color.
Data entry fields don't have states, as they're just for the user to enter in text and then the text entry loses focus. Perhaps you could put the text entry on a layer and have that shown when the user clicks the yes or no?
It would be great if one could easily hide text fields via states. Ultimately, I ended up "hiding" the text field via the timeline and some triggers attached to the yes/no buttons to start the timeline, thus revealing the text field. Thanks for posting a reply!

No problem Logan - and that does sound like a good option to consider. Did you already send it along as a feature request?
No, but I will now! Thanks.
