can player be in multiple languages for same training?

Oct 25, 2019

I created a Storyline training for a global audience that can be played in either English, Spanish, or French. The user selects the preferred language from the title slide and then goes to one of three scenes, each with 27 slides in that language. I'd like to use the built-in player so the directions and guidance appears in the selected language as well, but so far it looks like the player is set so I can only use one language overall for the entire training and the player can't be customized for a scene. Is this the case, or does anyone have another workaround for this?

Hi Rachel and welcome to E-Learning Heroes :)

Thanks for reaching out and sharing what you would like to create with your course.

You are correct. The player is the same for the entire course, so switching to multiple languages is not a feature.

You could set us custom navigation within your course and then have that specific to the language scenes.

Tips for Building Quick and Easy Custom Navigation in Storyline I look forward to ideas from others in the community as well.
