I'm refreshing my Articulate skills and have published a module for web. When people who do not have a subscription try to open it, the revolving image just revolves and revolves and revolves...
Is there a way for these folks to see the course on a laptop or PC? Or would they have to be paying Articulate customers?
No. Students do not have to have a subscription to view a course. Payment is only required of those who create content using SL.
During publishing did you check the box for "Include HTML5 output?"
A lot of current browser are dropping support for Flash. If you didn't publish HTML5 in addition to the default Flash version then the user will only see the spinning in browser that don't support flash.
Thank you, Michael. I did publish HTML5. Since this is my first publish not connected to LMS I probably need to figure things out from the "publish" point. My project for the morning!
I wanted to pass along the link to the Storyline 360 User Guide, in case you hadn't stumbled on it yet. Everything you need to know about publishing is at the bottom of that page. Best of luck, and let us know if you have any more questions!

Thanks, I am a fan of the user guide already :)
Isn't it helpful? I have it bookmarked because I use it everyday. 🙂
Shawn,
If you are not using an LMS, be sure to publish to the web.
I did, Walt, thanks. I believe I published it correctly. Now it's a matter of placing it on my web host and linking users to it. Wish me luck!
