I am trying to set my Previous slide to navigate somewhere other than the last slide visited. On my home PC I can add triggers to the Previous button, but at my office PC the Previous button does not appear as an option in the Triggers window, although the Next button does. Both PCs are on Windows 7. And yes, the Previous button is turned on in the slide settings. Is this a bug? Is there another setting I'm missing somewhere?
Have you checked the slide you're working on to see if you change that individual slides properties from "Player default" to "Custom" and turned off the Prev button there? Individual slide properties will override what you have set up within the main Storyline slide properties.
Additionally, since you mention it being accessible on your home PC, but not your work PC, you may want to conduct a simple repair of your Storyline software on your work PC. You'll also want to ensure that you're following these guidelines to prevent erratic Storyline behavior:
Work on your local drive (your C: drive).Working on a network drive or a USB drive can cause erratic behavior, includingfile corruption, loss of audio, and other unexpected behavior.
You should also make sure the directory pathto your project files and your published output is less than 260 characters(for example C:\Articulate).
Avoid using special characters, accents orsymbols in your file names.
