Can't find Articulate Mobile Player App?

I just tried to install the articulate mobile player app on my iphone but the app  didn't show the app store, not after searching for "articulate" and also not after searching for "articulate mobile player" . The Download worked for the iPad, however.

How come?

Hi Maribeth,

I haven't heard any rumblings of that - and with Articulate 360 and Storyline 3, we now have the responsive player which works on iOS mobile and tablets. That way the only real reason to use the Articulate Mobile player is if you needed to support something like FLV videos. 

Are you running into issues with the HTML5 output? What version of Storyline are you using?

Hi Ashley,

Thank you for the response. That does make sense but for me I almost feel stuck as my company just bought SL2 not that long ago and I hesitate to ask for Articulate 360 or SL3 - more expense. I admit I haven't had much time to research.

I am working in Storyline 2. When talked about publishing my courses for the Brainshark LMS, the LMS admin told that me Brainshark was a responsive platform and would automatically size the courses for mobile viewing. It is not doing that right now. She is contacting the vendor to see what may be able to be done.

I am not new to eLearning as I have used ToolBook and Captivate previously. This is the first time I have had a need for two audiences: PC and mobile.

Appreciate any advice you can provide.

Looks like your email signature came through when you replied via email! No worries, this Peek video will show you how to remove it. 

How long ago did you purchase Storyline 2? Depending on that our Success team could look at swapping it for you with the newer version or tell you what the upgrade cost would be. 

I don't know a lot about Brainshark - but some learning management systems use iFrames to display courses, and iFrame content may not launch as expected in iOS 9 especially in the mobile player. Take a look at the information here. 

You could also look at testing out how your course behaves in SCORM Cloud to provide some information to your Brainshark team about other industry standard.

My company purchased Storyline 2 for me mid Sept of 2016. I will use the link you so kindly provided and send my serial number to the Success Team.

I will look into the SCORM cloud information you sent also.
