Hi Uyen, sorry to hear you're having trouble. Can you tell me more about what is happening when the download gets hung up? Do you get an error message? Also, what version of Windows are you using? Be sure that you meet all of the Articulate 360 system requirements.
Yes, my computer meets all the requirements. I don't get any error message. The download bar just stops midway and it keeps saying downloading but nothing happens.
Thanks for the screenshot, Uyen. This is certainly strange behavior. I think it would be best to get in touch with our Support Engineers here so they can work with you to resolve this as quickly as possible.
Hi, I'm also getting an error, when trying to open the Desktop App. I have installed the Articulate360.exe, but the Desktop App window is closing down when trying to access the 360 Desktop App, so I can't install Storyline etc. I'm running Win7 SP1, 64-bit, 8GB memory, 2,4 CHz, so the requirements should be okay. What can I do?
If you don't find what you're looking for there, I recommend that you contact our Support Engineers directly, as they're well-versed with troubleshooting installation issues. If you do decide to open a case, please let me know your case number so I can follow along, as well!
Did you ever figure out what was causing this issue? I'm having the same issue. The first time I install 360 it opens but doesn't show the desktop apps to download, but then every other time now it crashes upon startup and shows the same message as your screenshot.
I don't see that Dorte opened a support case, so I don't have any updated information to share at this point. In case Dorte is no longer subscribed to this thread, you can also reach out directly via the ELH Profile. I'd also recommend that you open a case with our Support Engineers to get more one-on-one help with your specific set-up.
No, unfortunately our internal support could not figure out, what was causing the problem. It did however work on a co-workers computer, so it was something locally. We decided to re-install my computer to Windows10 (was going anyway), and the 360 app is working fine now. Sorry I'm not able to help you!
I have downloaded all apps successfully but when I try to work on a storyline file, for example, the program continues to ask me to download again and again. They are all in my hard drive. what is going on? Frankie
I appreciate you letting us know that you're continuing to get a prompt to download the software.
You mention that this is happening when you try to work on a storyline file. Do you experience an error or prompt to download if you open Storyline 360 directly from the Desktop App and work on a new file?
