I have a layer with animation that is supposed to show up with an text box entry is made. What I want to have happen is for the countdown to appear after they hit enter but it is going directly to the next slide. Help..I am under an impending deadline so I need to figure this out today..Will prob take an experienced developer about ten seconds to fix but this is my first try so just can't figure it out! Here is the file and it is slide 1.1. Thanks!!:
The file is not coming up to view. Do you want to do a screen shot of your baselayer with the triggers to see if the problem can be figured out from there.
Hi Tracy, It is actually easier if you can attach the .story file. If you make a copy of the file, then you can scrub any sensitive info just have the first couple of slides. We can probably figure out the problem pretty quickly.
Yeah that's it. On your Numbers layer you have a trigger to go to slide 1.2 when timeline starts so it will just jump off this slide as soon as you had it appearing. Change this to either timeline end or any other trigger you want.
Hi Tracy, I think the problem is because slide 1 was set up as a question slide. It was causing some funkiness. I've inserted a another slide (1.2 Untitled). See if this helps you.
Any way you could look at one other thing for me? My opening slides are not showing up in the menu when published. All my navigation is working so not sure what is happening. Thank you, thank you, thank you!
Click on the player icon. That will bring up a screen of the player properties. Click on the Menu icon. At the bottom of the menu there is an icon on the right, it has a rectangle and an arrow, it is beside the cog. Click on that, it will reset the contents of the menu and missing slides will show up in the menu then.

I think if you publish and zip the project and then attach it then that would work

isn't in the zip file? i'll attach it separately as well
WHile I am you can also see that somehow some of my scenes got deleted so the numbering is all off-like for the opening..any way of changing that?
timeline ends didn't work..any way to have it show the next button from the
base layer so they can just advance from there

Take a look at it now. I deleted the original slide 1.1. I may have messed up a trigger as the scene is no longer attached.
