It looks like Ari was able to solve the issue he had by testing the published output, as the preview won't have the same web browser functions/appearance. A true full screen experience is not an option within Storyline, but a few users have tried methods which they've shared in the community. Also, Justin offered a great explanation and examples here of what the "full screen" options will look like within Storyline.
I'm experiencing this exact same problem with SL2 v7 with a new project. No matter what combination of player settings I use, I cannot get the project to scale to the full size of a browser. This happens in preview mode within SL2 and with published content to an LMS. The only thing I have done differently with this particular project is that I'm using custom project dimensions (1004 x 662 = optimal dimensions for the iPad Air 2).
It's almost like the player settings are somehow corrupt and won't respond to any changes. What could be wrong?
I've not seen any corruption within Player settings before - but if you'd like to share the .story file we're happy to take a look. There isn't a full screen button or setting within Storyline, so it'll be determined based on your story size and what you're using for the player/browser settings and then the individual LMS or browser may override how it displays. You may want to take a look at setting it up outside of your LMS as well to test it - you could use a site such as SCORM Cloud which is an industry standard for LMS testing.
I ensured the correct settings, yet again (see attached), tried on SCORM Cloud, and sure enough it went full screen. Republished to my LMS, full screen as well.
The only problem I can think of is that I'm now running SL2 in Parallels under OSX. Sometimes when I publish, I get no blue progress bar and have to reload the application. Maybe what I was experiencing was some Parallels conflict, I dunno....
Glad to hear it's working now - and I can't think of what conflict you may have been running into, but it's worth confirming that you're following the steps here for Parallels.
How old is that Parallels article? I'm using a Retina Macbook Pro with Parallels 11 and the issue of having to disable retina does not seem to be applicable anymore. SL2 looks perfect with no tiny controls on my end. I'm wondering if the other recommendations are still necessary?
We regularly look at updating our articles, so I don't have a date on when that one was last modified but I know the information in regards to the retina display was fairly recent. If it works normally for you without making the change - that's great to hear. I have heard of other users needing to go through those steps - so worth keeping handy in case you run into any issues.

Thanks a lot! I got it!
Perfect! Thanks for the update.
