I am trying to reproduce a game I made a few months ago for an assignment that is due tomorrow. I have to produce a step-by-step guide. The original game works but the new one does not. I am trying to find what I've done wrong/differently. It is a game in which the steps for assembling equipment must be done in a specific sequence. I put the steps to the right of the viewer so you will know how to do it. I am attaching the .story file. The one that works is scene 1, and the one that doesn't is scene 2.
The reason it doesn't work is because of the order of the steps in the triggers.
Notice that you submit the interaction BEFORE you set either button to selected. Select a button first, then submit the interaction. Triggers are steps, just like your interaction, and they must be done in the correct order.

Thank you Walt! That did it.
