Hi, Elizabeth - Would you possibly be able to provide your file or a sample here so that we may take a look/test on our end? Also, can you please confirm that you are working locally as described here, and you may want to try importing the file into a new file. If you are still having issues, you might want to try to repair Storyline. In addition, please check out this information on System Requirements.
Hi, Elizabeth - Thank you for your response and for your file. You are correct that this is an issue in Update 5, and I found that it has already been reported to our QA team for further investigation. I am adding the link to this thread to the ticket, as well, and although I cannot provide an exact timeframe for resolution, I will be sure to update here with any and all information.
You may find that right-click triggers aren't currently working in Flash output.
We're investigating this issue and will post additional information here as it becomes available.
In the meantime, we recommend viewing the HTML5 version of your course if right-click triggers are required. You can force the HTML5 output to launch by default by linking directly to the story_html5.html file in your published output (rather than the story.html file).
It works on a base layer. Can't get it to work on other layers though. The left click works on the base layer and other layers as does the double-click trigger.
Correct - as the notation I included above, this only works for the base layer, and the issue with right clicks on other layers is still with our QA team.
No worries - and just an FYI that responding via email includes your signature here, so you may want to look at editing the post if you'd prefer it not be listed.

Here's a short and sweet test file that exhibits the problem.
I am working from my local hard drive. I meet all system requirements. Let me know what you see. In the meantime I'll run repair Storyline.

In the interim, this article "Right-Click Triggers Aren't Working in Flash Output" suggests the following:

Hi all,
You may find that right-click triggers aren't working on the base slide layers in your Articulate Storyline 2 Flash output.
This issue was fixed in Update 7 for Storyline 2. Install the latest version of Storyline 2 to take advantage of the new features and fixes, then republish your course.
Fantastic! Downloading it now!

Oh, sorry. I misunderstood (wishful thinking I guess).
