I think it's a big failing of this release of Quizmaker that you can no longer import quiz's into storyline, you can import version 9 quiz's still but there is not way to import version 13.
So I think it's best to avoid upgrading to 13 if this is a feature you use as I do from time to time.
Thanks for sharing here, and our team is working on including this in a future update, but unfortunately I don't have a time frame to offer. I have heard of some users who published their quizzes and then inserted those a web object into Storyline.
