Can't save my file!!!

Hi

I've been working all afternoon on a question bank in Storyline. When I go to save it, I get this message:

'Project file could not be saved. Store must be open for this operation.'

I've never seen this message before and I don't want to lose hours' worth of work! I have been saving reasonably regularly, but not in the past hour or so.

Any clues?

Hi Anne, here is a rather long post on this subject. It might offer some solutions.

In the mean time, try saving the file under a different name.

If you are working from an external drive or a shared server, you might want to consider moving the file to your PC and working locally.

Thanks for your reply. I'd already found this post, thanks - and will try the solutions.

I'd already tried saving the file under a different name, and I already had it on my C drive. I had inserted some pix that might have been on my flash drive. I lost a couple of hours' work, I'm afraid.

Still - I'll try again tomorrow!
