I've been trying to record some software training that involves text entry -- typing sentences. Which means using spaces between words, which means hitting the Spacebar. But the Spacebar toggles the Start Recording/Pause Recording command. So every time I want to type, I pause and re-start the recording and can't get it to type out a space.
How can I change this setting?
I feel like the answer is easy and I am foolish for not seeing it...

Hi, Belen -- Would it be possible for you to share an example of the behavior you are experiencing? I cannot say that I have heard of that behavior before, so would you be able to check out this info on Unexpected or Erratic Behavior in SL2 and run through the suggestions listed there perhaps? And if you continue to have difficulties, please use this form to submit a case with our Support Engineers for further investigation.
Hi, Belen -- Thanks for your response! I was just letting you know that I have not heard of someone sharing the experience you are having where the spacebar is not functioning properly during a screen recording. :)

Is the spacebar supposed to toggle the record/pause button: Yes? No?
If it's supposed to toggle, then I guess it is working correctly, it's just cross-purposes with what I need. If it's not supposed to toggle then, great, I'll submit a case.
Hi, Belen -- So sorry for the confusion! I assumed that is how you had toggle set up with the spacebar according to this, as set up can be user specific, and you were sharing that function is not working properly for you.

Christie, that link is what I needed!
Spacebar is set up as a toggle by default, but I actually wanted to change it so it wouldn't get in the way of my particular demo. Now I know how.
