Can Text in Speech Bubbles Be Personalized?

Is it possible to have the learner's name (that they've been previously requested to supply at lesson beginning) within the speech bubbles that can appear in a stage character's address/response/greeting/statement throughout a lesson?  I've seen in video tutorials that it can be placed, as a variable, within other text boxes/statements throughout the lesson. This kind of personalization would be great for the cartoon/comics age set!  They've seen similar in their video games.

If so, please indicate how.  Thanks
