I know we can record our screens to capture it as a video, but can we also turn that in to a training simulation where the trainee has to click on the right spot to walk through the simulation? I used to use Adobe Captivate for this, and would like to know if Articulate has this, and which program to use if so. Thanks!! Janet
Yes Janet, you can. I've done it for a couple of programs. If you want to create a 'very realistic' simulation it will require a considerable time creating hotspots, etc. , but the result can be nice.
An additional advice: having a 'go back to the last action' button demonstrated to be very useful, as learners became more aware of the result of each action.

Yes you can. Storyline gives you the option to import the recorded slides in "Try Mode" or "Test Mode."
I'm used to Captivate as well, but the Articulate feature comes close.

Hi Janet,
It looks like you're are getting some great assistance from the community.
I just wanted to pop in and share our documentation in case it was helpful as well :)
