There is no built-in option to publish in .MP4 format. You could run the published content and then record it with some screen recording software, e.g. Replay.
Storyline publishes a collection of files for each course, which allows the content to progressively download elements. This means your content will have faster download and playback times.
Currently, Storyline doesn't support publishing to a single SWF (Flash) file or single MP4. If you'd like to see this feature, please submit a request to our product development team.
In the meantime, please utilize Michael's suggestion of recording with Replay or another screen recording tool.
Did you record with Replay or another instance of Storyline and export the screen recording? Could you share the .replay file or the .story file so that we could take a look at publishing or exporting it?
Hi All--these comments are all 2-3 years old. Is there any updated way to publish a Storyline Class to an MP4 format? I realize there would be no interaction opportunities but I would still like to format some classes to be played as a video. Just seeing if anything has changed.

I've used the work around to record my screen, but there's no audio on the MP4. Suggestions?
