Can you access text from a published Storyline SCORM course?

Jul 01, 2019

Specifically, I'm wondering if there is a way to isolate the text on the page, and then possibly swap the language of that text? From the digging around I've done in the exported zips it seems like the text can be found in various javascript files, but a brief experiment in swapping that text just broke the course. For reference we are publishing SCORM 2004, HTML5 with Flash backup.

Is it possible to do a language swap on the fly of an exported course without having to rebuild the course in storyline?

Yeah, we have all the source files and we already translate the courses manually to Spanish. I understand the layout issues that would be present with trying to translate on the fly, but it was a question that was asked of me by upper management and I have to get as much information as possible to present my findings.

I assumed the answer was no, but it always help to have other sources that can confirm your suspicions. I appreciate the response! Thanks!
