Hi, I'm fairly new to Storyline so forgive me if this sounds a silly question..... is there any way you can capture the learners responses to a survey question in a Storyline course? We run our published courses through an LMS.
It's not a silly question at all! Capturing survey responses is LMS dependent, so you may need to check in with them. You'll want to ensure that you have a Survey results slide as the tracking slide for your LMS though.
Ashley, are you suggesting that it is possible to capture responses to individual survey questions, such as Likerts, out of Storyline? The Survey Results slide doesn't really provide "results" at all, only a thank you message and a button allowing you to review your responses. Is there a mechanism I'm not aware of that sends the survey response data out of SL?
Thanks for sharing that, I know that there are difficulties with Likert scale questions being reported in an LMS. I mostly test in Articulate Online, where you can see individual survey responses, although the Likert scale responses still have difficulty there as well.

Hi Brett,

Thank you both for your replies.
I'm afraid I'm not using Articulate Online and having read your related post Brett, I can see my thought process hasn't been too far off the mark.
Thanks again.
Thanks Anne for the update, and I'm glad that Brett's answer was able to assist you.
