I am needing to add grouped objects to a state and I am not sure if this is possible. I thought about creating the group of objects in photoshop, but before I spent time doing this, I am asking the experts the best way to handle this scenario.
I attached my file so you can see examples of the group objects.
you can cut the elements you want to add for example to a rectangle and paste them into the state. See attaced file, did it for the first one on the left (Elktoe). Is this what you want to do?
This sounds like it would work for what I want to do, but I am not seeing what you did in your attachment. I might be looking in the wrong place. I clicked on the "Elktoe" grouped object and clicked on "States". I did not see any additional states for "Elktoe" object.

I got it to work. Thanks for your help.
Thanks Gayle for that update - sometimes it just takes a day away from it to see anything that you were missing!
