Can you create preset screen recording sizes?

I work on multiple projects and have to record different screen sizes. Not only do I have to keep track of each record size, but I also have to finagle the capture area to make sure it looks seamless and consistent from one recording to another and from day to day. Otherwise there's a visible 'jump' if I don't line things up just perfectly which is pretty time consuming.
Is there a way to lock in/save screen recording sizes? The only options I have are:
Select a window
720x540
720x405
Full Screen
*and then of course you can manually expand the record area to where you need which is what I am doing
Ideally, I'd like to choose a setting that would resize an actual window to my desired size (I was able to do this in Captivate). If could at least lock down the record area in Storyline, that would be a huge help.

There isn't a way to type in the exact dimensions, but once you perform one screen recording at a given size, those dimensions will be saved in the list for future use. The first time you record the screen, you'll have to manually resize the frame by clicking and dragging the corner of the recording area. Those dimensions will then be saved in the list of options, and you can select those dimensions for future recordings. I hope that helps!
Thanks for the reply. I've been using Storyline for a couple years now and it only saves the LAST screen recording size but what I need to do is save a set (perhaps 3 or 4) preset sizes for various projects I work on at different times. It's especially cumbersome editing and adding to projects that I worked on months ago. I have to recall what the recording size was then do a series of test recordings to match up window sizes, placement etc. It's quite a pain.
I also work with Replay and have the same problem...recording in Replay for one project, but then have to go to Storyline for another project but it defaults back to whatever the last recording size was across both apps.
Ah, thanks for clarifying that, Aimee. I certainly hear your frustration, and I can see how having the ability to preset the dimensions would make life a lot easier when you are working with multiple sizes. Adding the option to preset dimensions is definitely an idea worth passing along to our product development team in the form of a feature request. Would you mind taking a moment to share your perspective there?
