I've seen the tutorial about how to hide or display the menu, notes, etc for some or all slides, however, I'd really like to be able to close the entire side panel for some slides. When the notes or menu are dispalyed, having the logo there, too, is great. However, I don't like having the panel open just to display a logo when the rest of the sidebar isn't necessary. I'd rather have the focus be on the presentation screen.

The only other way I can think of, would be to place your logo on a slide master for the slides with hidden sidebars.
That would work, but I'm a bit bummed that you can't completely close the sidebar as you can in Presenter. Perhaps a feature request...
