Can you publish with a free trial?

May 07, 2015

I'm trying to publish a story for my students in my classroom, but when I open the web published story, it only opens a blank docx named story. Can you publish with a free trial?

As a new user i'd like to reanimate this topic, since i seem to have the very same problem. Though a few things might have changed in the past two years.

I don't have a unique url to my account, it's just account.articulate.com. Also, no option to change that. No Settings tab at all. So i have no url to enter in the publish dialog. What am i doing wrong?

Hi Veprea,

Articulate Online is a separate service, which you're welcome to start a free trial of too! You can learn more about Articulate Online, including how to create a free 30-day trial account or how to purchase a paid account, here

You could also publish to Web, and upload to Tempshare to see how the course is going to behave.

Hi Veprea,

If you'd like to view it locally, take a look at publishing to CD. You could also publish to Web and upload to Tempshare - that's a really easy way! Follow these steps:

  1. Publish Storyline for web
  2. On the publish successful pop up box choose "Zip"
  3. Open a browser and go to tempshare.articulate.com
  4. Once there you can drag in the Zipped folder to the Upload field, or click the button to browser for files.
  5. Once it's uploaded you'll get a URL that you can view the course at for 10 days

Hope that helps!
