I just basically want to do what the title says. Right now, my Storyline file is reading all of its text data from an XML file and storing it in a text variable to be displayed. I know I can fill in the question, and all of the text fields associated with the question, with a text variable (by using %variable%). But, I have no idea how/if I can make the correct field a variable as well. If anyone can point me in the right direction, it would be greatly appreciated!
(pic to clarify exactly what I'm trying to read in from a variable)
The end goal is to read in what answer is correct from an external file. I've already made all of the code to put the data into storyline variables, now I just want to know if there's a way to use a variable to set which answer in a multiple choice question is correct.
And if you can't directly use a variable with the correct field, is there a trigger that can change which answer in a question is correct?
Perfect, thanks for the clarification! Since the "Correct" answer choice is already configured for you in Storyline 360, there isn't a trigger or variable to customize.
I'm interested in what our coding experts in the community would recommend! I'll stay by to see what you all come up with us.

Hi Alex!
I'm happy to help! First, would you mind sharing the end goal for changing the Correct section to a variable?
This will help us provide a more tailored approach to creating exactly what you're looking for!
