I've built an exercise which attaches a value to certain items on different screens when clicked. When they get to the last one, it gives them a final score. The way the course is currently set up, it allows them to go back in and do it again if they want to. Is there any way that i can reset the score to prevent the score being added to their prev score?
You can certainly use a trigger to reset a variable to zero. You just have to find the right place/object for this trigger in your project.
I'll give it a try Michael.
p.s. I was extremely impressed with your countries football team last night.
I was more shocked how bad Brasil was
I was to. They just collapsed.
Re the variable. It doesn't reset it unfortunately. I tried putting it on a button in 2 different places and i've also tried it on the timeline starts on a hotspot. I just scored 18/10 :s
Are you trying to reset one of the built-in Score.xyz variables or a custom numeric variable? The built-in variables can only be reset by using 'Reset Results' trigger.

It's just a standard number variable i've built myself.
There are 2 images on 5 separate slides. Depending on which image they click on, 1 or 2 points are added to the variable. The total then appears on slide no 6.

Can you upload your file so that we can have a look?

You could set the trigger that Michael is talking about on the button ( or what ever you have set up to take them back to the beginning) so that when they click on it it resets the var to 0.
