"Cannot Access Content" in AMP

Nov 21, 2013

Hi everyone,

I am getting an error message "Cannot Access Content" in AMP. The course is published with the Storyline UPDATE 4, and the Tin Can API as tracking and reporting. Please see the screenshot below for the settings. The course is uploaded and launched from the SCORM Cloud. Is everyone has encounter this issue before?

i consulted the following article (http://www.articulate.com/support/storyline/cannot-access-content-error-when-launching-articulate-storyline-content-in-the-articulate-mobile-player). But I don't know where and how to start debugging. Any suggestions are welcome.

Hi Benny,

Sorry I missed your note on Friday, but I just looked into your case and I see that Jayem wasn't able to replicate the issue and was successfully uploaded to SCORM Cloud and all worked in the iPad as well. He suggested that you reach out to your LMS team. Have you been able to connect with them yet?

Hi Ashley,

Sorry for the confusion. I might have miscommunicate the issue. All the testings were done with the SCORM Cloud. I was not using our LMS in this case. Below were the steps that I took:

  1. Publish the course with only "Use Articulate Mobile Player on iPad" option selected.
  2. Uploaded the course to the SCORM Cloude (not our LMS)
  3. Create a public invite link in the SCORM Cloud
  4. Here is the public invite link: https://cloud.scorm.com/sc/InvitationConfirmEmail?publicInvitationId=fe0aae2d-c9f4-4723-be21-a0c258b96f1b
  5. Load the public invite link on the iPad Safari (iOS 7)
  6. Articulate Mobile Player load, and the error message "Cannot access content" poppped up.

I hope the steps above clear the air. Do you mind to test the SCORM Cloud public invite link above? Thank you.

Hi Benny,

Thanks for the additional information and sharing the link. I tested the link within my iPad (ios7 and Safari) and after logging in, what I initially received was a browser screen reminding me about popups and if I wanted to proceed with the course - I clicked to launch the course, and the file loaded successfully within my mobile player. I'm also able to close the course, and revisit my mobile player library and play the file again.

If you're receiving the "cannot access content" pop up, I'd suggest that you review this troubleshooting article, and if possible test it by accessing the course through a different wireless network.
