WHY CANT I IMPORT A PPT WHEN IT'S STORED IN A FOLDER ON MY DESKTOP? why do I NEED TO PLACE IT SEPARATELY ON THE DESKTOP BEFORE IMPORTING IT...? Sorry, was shouting there for a moment...
You mentioned that you don't receive an error message, just an empty folder? So the PowerPoint you're trying to import just disappears from the folder and also doesn't show up in the Storyline file?

GREAT QUESTION JENS!
Are you getting some kind of an error message? I've imported PPT from various locations and have not had an issue including from cloud servers.
Hi Kevin,
Thanks for your prompt reply, appreciated!
No, no error message, just an empty folder...?
Another question: I have many PPts in 16:10, not 4:3, but they do not scale in the player - anyway to get around that?
Thanks again.
Jens

When you import a PowerPoint that is a different size than you're Storyline file, the size may not update correctly, and it's also important to note that importing PowerPoint into Storyline is not an exact one to one conversation.
