Hello all! I am receiving this message when trying to publish my course to SharePoint 2010:
Assets in this format cannot be played by the Media Player Web Part. The following media formats can be played by the Media Player Web Part: Windows Media Audio (WMA), Windows Media Video (WMV), ISO/MPEG Layer-3 (MP3).
Any help to direct the company IT to fix would be helpful. Thanks!
What files are you trying to load up to your Sharepoint site? Storyline when published will create a folder and collection of files, all of which need to be hosted on the server or LMS for it to play properly. You'll find files with extensions of .swf, .html, and .js among others. I don't know much about Sharepoint and hosting there, but there are a number of community forum discussions where you may get some insight:
