I cannot seem to preview my whole course as a project, it comes up with the player and the waiting symbol but it doesn't progress.
I can preview each scene individually without any problems.
I have tried to upload it to Review to see if it works as an entire project there but I end up with the same issue of the player being visible with the waiting image. Can anyone help?

Great call to also start a support case for the snag you're seeing! While my teammate, Renato, carefully tests your file to nail down the culprit, I have a hunch that there may be a corrupt object in the file.

I am having the exact same issue with my course: can preview slides and scenes, but not the entire course. Happens in Review as well.
