Cant launch Storyline 2 Modules on I-pad 2

Good afternoon,

My modules had been working fine for years but I can't seem to launch a storyline 2 module on and i-pad.

I checked a few threads on the fourm and I thought that if I downloaded the latest version of Storyline 2 and republish the module, I would be able to launch it ok on the i-pad but I'm still having issues.

I have made sure the i-pad has the latest update and I have downloaded the Articulate player from the play store but when I try to launch the module from the LMS system which is SCORM.

Hello Michael,

Since you mentioned the published file is hosted in an LMS, have you done any testing in SCORM Cloud yet?  If so, are you getting the same results? We generally compare the behavior in SCORM Cloud to your LMS experience to try to parse out file issues versus LMS issues.  We are happy to help you with that testing if you'd like to share your file!

Thanks for your reply.

No, sorry I had not done any testing in SCORM Cloud and thank you so much for the offer to help as this is all very new to me.  

I have now registered for SCORM cloud and I uploaded the file to SCORM and everything looked ok.  There didn't appear to be any errors or messages to worry about. 

I was able to launch the module on the PC ok but when I try to access the module on the i-pad I get the error message "Cannot Access Content.  Articulate Mobile Player cannot access this content".

Hi Michael,

There shouldn't be any issue with viewing the content from Safari in Apple iOS 7 and later per our system requirements here

Do you know if the course was published to include the HTML5 and Mobile Player output? Are you trying to access on a device with iOS9 or later and using a version of the course that was published with an earlier version of Storyline? You may want to review the details here as it's something that our team previously saw and implemented a fix for in Storyline and an updater patch to help fix older versions of the courses. 

If you're still having difficulty, can you tell us a bit more about where and how the course was published (update/version) and information about your iPad device in terms of the iOS and browser you're using to view it.

Hi Alyssa,

Thank you for the information.

I republished the course again making sure HTML5 and mobile player option ticked and I can now see it on Safari as well as Chrome so course now working ok :)   

I really appreciate all the help and advice, good to know there is excellent support available when ever needed.
