Tried to open my Articulate Storyline this morning (worked fine up to now) and now all I get is a window saying to update my Flash Player. I have updated to the most current Flash Player but I still keep getting the window to update the Flash Player. Help!!!
I have the latest version of Storyline 2, loaded 3.30.2015 in Windows 7, and had the same issue when combined with the latest version of Adobe Flash Player 17 (Automatically installed from Adobe). The trick, uninstall the latest version of Flash Player and then install a previous version. I went back to version 11 and Storyline 2 works fine. You can get previous versions from another computer (I used my old XP machine version, just did a search for Flash Player.exe), or you can go to Adobe as they allow downloading archived versions for developers: https://helpx.adobe.com/flash-player/kb/archived-flash-player-versions.html
I'm glad you were able to get things working by regressing your Flash version, but I'm currently on Flash version 17 (update came through this AM for me) and everything is working as expected. You'd want to be on the latest update that your system allows and if you're still having difficulty running Storyline with Flash 16 or 17, it may be easiest to troubleshoot this directly with our support engineers here.
I agree, but I feel it's best to go back to a version that you know works and then progress forward. That's why I mentioned the "Previous version" windows process first, which can quickly take you back 1 or 2 versions. I always recommend to my clients that they not immediately jump to an upgrade of any software for at least a few months to ensure all the beta bugs are worked out.

Makes sense Joe. :-)
Let us know if you're still having difficulty once you get up and running on the latest version.
