Capture results from a Survey in a PDF form then email to a manager for action

Oct 15, 2018

Hi

I need to have a survey or test answers captured in a PDF and then emailed out to a Health and Safety Manager. Is there an easy way to do this. So far I have the survey using MS Apps Forms dropped in as a Web Object but that saves the results to my MS Apps Forms account which isn't what I need, I need to get the results emailed. I have tried to capture answers using a text variable and I can see there is a send to trigger to add an email address but how do I get that results PDF'd and emailed out please?

If this is possible it would be really good.

Thanks

Ruth

Hi Matthew,

Sorry not to reply before, have been dragged off onto other projects.

Thanks for this great example and yes initial external enquiries to build this do seem to be very expensive for a little PDF form & email process.

I had a look at your example and sending an email would do it if I could get the form with the question and answers into the email. So I guess this works only for grabbing sections of text only not for a whole form?

Thanks

Ruth

Hi Matthew,

Unfortunately attaching the PDF is not for us, the whole process needs to happen within the e-Learn so the form needs to be completed through a serious of questions within the e-Learn and then magically the whole form with the learner's responses gets sent off to an email address to be reviewed. I'm thinking may be I can use the MS Forms and power automate to forward the form with the answers from learners, may be that would work.

Thanks for your help.
