Capture screenshot while viewing screencast
Nov 02, 2012
I read on the forums somewhere that there is a way to capture just a screenshot while editing the video of a screencast. But of course I can't find the post again. Did I make it up? Or does such a shortcut key exist? (Looking for something like pressing C in timeline mode to mark a cue point.)
For the purposes of:
A large video (79 slides) that I'd like to just isolate two different screens (two slides) rather than insert and then delete the entire try it mode; and maybe use the screenshots quality of storyline rather than snagit.
Thanks!

Hey Sarah!
I think you're looking for Step 2 here. That it?
Not exactly. I knew about the ability to set up screen captures before you record, I meant after the recording is saved. You know, when you change your mind about the training direction but just want a screen capture from the video.
The link you send got me here though: http://community.articulate.com/tutorials/products/exporting-screen-recordings.aspx
So I'll try that. Thank you for getting me there.
Ahh, perfect Sounds like the Save Frame method is exactly what you want. Good luck!
Thanks.
