We have tried unsuccessfully to capture the response data in our LMS Learn Dash. We have Tin Can but we continue to get an error "Configuration Data Missing or Incorrect". I did read somewhere about hosting the content on a different server but we don't have another server to do that with.
If the URL string sent to the Tin Can API content by your learning management system (LMS) is incorrect or invalid, you'll encounter the following error message:
Configuration data is missing or incorrect

What version of Storyline are you using?

I never put in a URL because I thought that was only if you are using a
different server. Am I incorrect?
Do you have Tin Canny installed? If not you need an LRS to capture the data

Does your LMS support Tin Can API without an LRS?
Articulate content can be hosted in the LMS or on an external site. You must launch Articulate content using the method described in the Incorporating a Tin Can LRS into an LMS document. You'll find some more information linked here in our article on Implemented Tin Can API to support your courses.
