Capturing Score on an LMS from an Interactive Game

Nov 06, 2020

Hi all,

I wondered if anyone out there can help me.

I have built this interactive game in Articulate Storyline about good and bad practices in Social selling.

If you look at the attached picture it consists of a animated conveyor belt with a number of objects/icons moving along it.

You can stop or resume the conveyor belt so therefore if you press STOP, the objects come to a standstill.

If you click on each object, a question appears above the object that it relates to and you can answer this by clicking either the CROSS or TICK button below.

Depending if you get this right this adds a value of 1 to a number variable called "Score1" when you click either the CROSS or TICK buttons.

After you have finished all the questions by clicking on each object you go to a new slide that displays your score out of 27 etc.

Now these objects are all in a group on an animation path with an invisible hotspot over each one that makes the animation stop.

Now this game all works OK but what I would like is the additional functionality so that the value of this score is recorded and stored on a learning management system so that an administrator can see how well you have done etc.

Now, I have not added any conventional graded question slides that are linked to a results slide etc if I was doing a normal assessment but my question is hwo can I make this bespoke animation of mine recorded this score onto an LMS.

Thanks in advance.

Thanks

Keith
