Hi, Mary-Lynne -- Would you be able to provide your file so that we can test it in the SCORM Cloud?

I've not looked at it in an LMS, but the Print Report shows that carriage returns aren't appearing in the saved text. Here is a link to a sample file online: www.hilightlearning.ca/Carriage_return_sample/story.html

Thank you for sharing your file and for the link. I was able to take a look, and the file is working as designed. The variable reference does include the carriage return, and it is not reflected in the print results. If you would like to see the print results behavior changed, please submit a feature request. 

I'm surprised you made go through all these hoops to prepare a file for you to look at it, when you could have stated this based on the information in my original post. "How can I make a carriage return appear in the html report? " - "You can't"
