Can anyone tell me how I might be able to change 'CC' on the player tab (in the menu) to a french version 'Sous-titres'? I tried to added a new player tab, but there is no option for closed captioning as an action.
Hi there, Ann. With the modern player, the closed captioning button will default to the caption icon with "CC" inside. There isn't a text label setting to change it. Let me make a feature request to see how we can make that button internationally friendly.
In the meantime, you can create a button your slide (or slide master) that when clicked will adjust the closed captioning variable:
This trigger will toggle the display of your closed captions. Let me know if you need more help!
Ideally we would not want to add another button on our slide (as there is lots already happening) but I can see how this might work in some situations.
