I am working on a software simulation course and the particular slide I am working with is supposed to have the user click in a text box. However, when the screen action got recorded, Storyline interpreted it to be a "click and drag" interaction instead of simply a click. Is there a way to work around this without having to re-record the process?
I thought I would just add my own Hotspot and create triggers to move the media forward after clicking on the hotspot, but the screen action still seems to have a mind of its own.
I think you'd likely have to build it from scratch or rerecord as the click and drag items are not interactive in a screen recording. The screen recording element should be visible on your slide timeline as well (look for the name to have a date/time stamp based on when it was recorded) and you could look at deleting that from the timeline.
